Rumors earlier arose that an Xbox Two would be released anytime soon. These speculations have been supported by a recent video uploaded on YouTube by Soy Antonio Gaming.

According to the uploader claimed, the video is the "official first concept design" for the new Xbox Two. It was also noted that "Microsoft clearly didn't intend for this information to come out" so the original link where the video was first found is no longer working.

The Examiner reports that it takes a lot of time -- around seven to eight years -- for new Xbox and PlayStation versions to be launched. For instance, the Xbox One and PS4 were only released seven or eight years after the launch of their predecessors Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

However, Devinder Kumar, senior vice president and chief financial officer of AMD, the provider of the Jaguar CPU for the Xbox One and PS4, revealed in June that it is expected that the life span of the products will be shorter, as reported by Examiner.

This was also supported by a statement made by one of Sony Computer Entertainment's officials, Fergal Gara, that "new console cycle might be shorter than the last," Techradar reported.

A voice over saying "It's a mobile-first, cloud-first world. Everything is becoming digital. From concept to reality. Think of the opportunities being unbounded. We get every individual, and every organization to get more out of every moment of their lives. We're going to come at this by innovating in every dimension," can be heard in the video posted Youtube, Gamerheadlines said. The video was showing how the new console would look like.

So is this video real or fake?

Erwin Murillo, author of Gamerheadlines, claims that the design shown in the video is not legitimate and is actually a fake. He said that the product shown in the video is a "Hauppauge HD PVR 2 game capture device." To confirm this, here is the current page of Hauppage.com where a photo of the device is seen.

According to its site, HD PVR 2 Gaming Edition is a device that "records high definition game play video from a gaming PC, Sony PlayStation or Microsoft Xbox 360 onto your Windows laptop or desktop."

A game play can also be video recorded in high definition through this device. These videos, in turn, can also be uploaded on YouTube, the site added. You can check the video and the webpage to confirm it by yourself. Microsoft has not confirmed or commented on this issue.

Meanwhile, a separate Techradar report said that Sony UK may release the PlayStation 5 in a shorter period of time. Sony UK official Fergal Gara revealed there are many reasons to believe that the next cycle would come in lesser time. "It's probably a sign of the times and how much has changed in seven years, but I think the willingness and the appetite to pick up new technology fast has probably changed quite a bit," he said.
