The upcoming superhero film, "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" is still aiming to launch in 2016, but a movie extra revealed a few details on what fans might expect, which may cost him or her a $5 million fine for breaching the confidentiality agreement.
According to Week.com, the anonymous insider, who was reportedly working as an extra in Zack Snyder's movie, divulged spoilers to WILX-10 in Detroit. The source agreed to share the confidential movie matters, on the condition that he remains unknown. His voice was disguised and his face hidden as he shared previously filmed scenes. The information was described by the source "as scripted now", which means that some of these may or may not appear in the actual film release.
1. Lex Luthor and Bruce Wayne confrontation
In a report by Blend Cinema, a WILX Michigan news report indicated that one recently filmed scene happens at a party, where Lex Luthor, played by Jesse Eisenberg, has a physical confrontation with Bruce Wayne, played by Ben Affleck. The scene, which was shot at an art museum at the Michigan State University campus, will involve "heavy special effects", paparazzi, the military and fireworks.
2. Robin is a female
According to The Wrap, Jena Malone of "Hunger Games: Catching Fire" will take on the role of Robin or Carrie Kelley, which means that Batman's sidekick will be a woman. The actress was seen on the Detroit set.
3. Zack Snyder
The extra also revealed that Zack Snyder will be returning to direct "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice". The movie is expected to release on March 25, 2016, which will feature the two biggest characters in DC Comics Universe. He is best known for directing and producing other blockbuster superhero films like "The Dark Knight Returns", "Man of Steel", "The Watchmen" and "300".
4. Other stars appearing
Fans may have already gotten word on other cast members such as Gal Gadot who will take on the role of Wonder Woman. Jason Momoa, who played Khal Drogo in "Game of Thrones" is set to star as Aquaman while Amy Adams will reprise the role of Clark Kent's romantic interest, Lois Lane. Ben Affleck replaced Christian Bale to play Bruce Wayne or Batman while Henry Cavill will still be playing Clark Kent or Superman.
Unfortunately, the source is not bound to stay anonymous for long. Reportedly, Warner Bros. is already preparing a lawsuit for the leak.
