Things seem to be going fast around Hollywood, especially when it comes to relationships. According to Just Jared, Jennifer Lawrence's mother has already been introduced to Jen's current beau, Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin.
In a report by The Daily Mail, the actress's grandmother, Carolyn Koch told The Sun that "Jennifer's mum flew to Los Angeles to meet Chris. We will have to get another chair for the dinner table at Christmas. The family is getting so big we might have to split up for gatherings."
JLaw is known for being very private about her personal life and she's not a high maintenance type of girlfriend, either. Her grandfather was also quoted as saying, "Jennifer doesn't like the hype. She looks like she really enjoys doing TV interviews but she's just a great actress. She hasn't changed one bit - she is so humble and down to earth."
According to the Daily Mail, this goes well with what Jen has been looking for in a relationship: low-key. In the end, she's just a regular girl who wants to have a boyfriend who will be content with nights in and just watch TV with her.
She said, "I'd rather have just a peaceful time. [Those relationships] are deeper because you can be your true self with somebody, and somebody can be their true self with you."
Their families seem to be happy for the pair, but Maritn's ex-wife allegedly isn't. According to the International Business Times, Chris's ex-wife, Goop Founder Gwyneth Paltrow, was not happy about Chris introducing Jen to their two children.
The National Enquirer (via Radar Online) reported that when Gwyneth found out that introductions have been made, she called the 24-year-old "The Hunger Games" actress to tell Jen that her relationship with her former husband cannot be stopped, but that Jen should not leave "personal items" at his house because the "kids might come across" them.
While Chris has an ex-wife to deal with, Jen, on the other hand, was in an on-again, off-again relationship with "X-Men" co-star, Nicholas Hoult for four years before she moved on to her current beau.
But whatever is happening with their previous partners, Chris and Jen seem to be facing their future together and the family introductions should be enough proof that this relationship is getting serious.
Do you think Jen and Chris make a good pair?
