Motorola's Nexus 6 will get the widest U.S. release in the history of any Nexus device.

Following Motorola and Google's announcement on October 15, five telephone companies in the U.S.,  Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and US Cellular, will begin to offer Nexus 6 next month, reported GSM Arena.

Of the five carrier companies, T-Mobile is the first to announce an official release date of November 12, the site said.

The 32GB SIM-free base model of the Nexus 6 in unlocked form shall be available for $649 from the Play Store, noted GSM Arena.

Expertreviews said that pre-orders of Nexus 6 in the U.S. will begin on October 29 and the phone will subsequently go on sale in November.

Meanwhile, Google has yet to reveal the official release dates of Nexus 6 in the U.K. market.

For those buyers who want to get an easier payment option for the Nexus 6, T-Mobile shall be offering a 24-month term for the smartphone with equal monthly instalments of $27.08, detailed GSM Arena.

It's quite an enticing offer since two years of paying $27.08 shall total to $649.92, which means that only an additional 92 cents shall be added to the official retail price of the Nexus 6.

Packs a Punch

The Nexus 6 is a 5.9-inch smartphone built by Motorola that packs serious power. It shall have the Android 5.0 Lollipop for its operating system, according to Expertreviews.

Google has unveiled the Nexus 6 along with two other Nexus-branded devices (the HTC Nexus 9 tablet and the Asus Nexus Player) on Wednesday in a bold attempt to rival Apple in the high-end consumer market, reported The Wall Street Journal.

The Nexus 6 borrowed heavily from the design of Motorola's second generation Moto X smartphone, Expertreviews observed. "The two phones look almost identical in terms of shape and design, albeit with less prominent Motorola branding and a large Nexus logo on the back of the Google handset," the report described.

In terms of hardware, the Nexus 6 screen uses a QHD 2,560 x 1,440 resolution panel that generates a display density of 493 pixels per inch.

Motorola has also included front-facing stereo speakers above and below the screen so the Nexus 6 should be ideal for sharing video clips or watching YouTube videos without the need for headphones.

The phone uses AMOLED technology and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor that runs at 2.7GHz. It has the same CPU being used by Samsung for its Galaxy Note 4, which is considered as one of the fastest Android devices today, claimed Expertreviews.

Nexus 6 also features a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera. Motorola has built in an optical image stabilization to eliminate camera shake and a twin-LED ring flash to ensure clearer photos even in dark surroundings.
