Looks like everything's alright with Ashton Kutcher and his ex-wife Demi Moore a year after their divorce was finalized. She turned up at the Kabbalah blessing of his firstborn with actress Mila Kunis recently and even held the baby!
"The actress - who was married to Ashton from 2005 to 2013 - attended the Jewish-based ceremony in LA with her daughters Rumer and Tallulah in tow," the Daily Mail reported. "The 51-year-old Hollywood star also handed out presents - including an engraved picture frame and a personalised cashmere baby blanket - to Ashton and Mila's little girl Wyatt Isabelle, who was born on September 30."
"Demi and her daughters congratulated the couple while having a quick hold and coo over the baby," a witness at the event was quoted by the British publication as saying.
All's well that ends well, indeed! As Hollywood Life puts it, "Ashton and Demi are probably one of the most mature former Hollywood couples in existence."
It was also noted that the 51-year-old "Striptease" star is "doing so well and at ease with Ashton's new life as a father and fiancé."
This is certainly a wonderful turn of events, considering the hurt inflicted on Demi in the wake of her split from Ashton back in 2011, when the 36-year-old actor was accused of cheating on his then forty-something wife with a younger woman, as noted by RadarOnline.
The site also reported that Demi was one of the first persons Ashton informed of Mila's pregnancy, considering its potential impact on his ex wife if she knew about it from other sources.
"Demi was one of the first people Ashton called when he found out Mila was expecting his first child," an insider had told the news source. "While that might seem shocking to many given their bitter breakup, it's just Ashton's style to inform Demi before the news broke. He was fully aware of how much Mila's news would affect Demi and wanted to be the one to tell her personally."
At the time, he was reportedly "still in denial" of the hurt he has caused his ex, although he's said to be concerned on doing what he can to maintain a close friendship with Demi despite what happened.
Meanwhile, Ashton has reportedly been playing the role of helpful dad, with Hello Magazine saying that the actor is "ready to do anything" for his baby girl.
"Ashton has wanted to be a parent for so long. He is ready to do anything necessary to take care of the baby. He is ecstatic," an insider was quoted as anything.
