NBA fans are already getting tickets to the most exciting games in the upcoming 2014-2015 regular season. The schedule features a number of intriguing matchups, with many particularly focusing on LeBron James and his new Cleveland band.

1. Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Chicago Bulls

The Bulls are slated to visit Cleveland on October 20. The game features two of the most powerful teams in the Eastern Conference, with the dynamic trio of LeBron James, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving facing off against the returning Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah and Pau Gasol. The Bulls' solid defense will be put to the test against the high-scoring Cavs. It will be a great battle of point guards between Rose and Irving.

2. Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Minnesota Timberwolves

On December 23, the Cavs will play against Minnesota. In a report by Fansided, it will be a very intriguing matchup, featuring the talented young roster of the Timberwolves, built around No. 1 draft pick Andrew Wiggins. The Timberwolves will prove that they can manage without Love and that it was a wrong move for Cleveland to let go of Wiggins before he had the chance to prove his worth.

3. San Antonio Spurs vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

James has been prevented by the San Antonio Spurs from a championship ring two times in his career. On November 19, the two teams are set to play against each other, which can be indicative of the likely overall champion in the 2014-2015 season. San Antonio was the reason why James only has two rings and might also have been the reason why he decided to form a new "Big 3" in Cleveland.

4. Miami Heat vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

The matchup will be one of the premiere games featured on TV on Christmas Day. According to Miami Herald, the Cavaliers will be visiting the American Airlines Arena to face Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. This will be the first time that LeBron will be facing his former championship teammates.

5. Los Angeles Lakers vs. Houston Rockets

On October 28, Kobe Bryant fans will be delighted to see their hero return to the court after a knee fracture kept him on the sidelines since December 17, 2013. The Lakers will also feature Byron Scott as the new head coach and Jeremy Lin, who was traded by the Rockets in the summer. It will be a challenging matchup for Bryant, playing without Gasol, against Dwight Howard and James Harden.
