Another round of pictures of celebrities in various degrees of nudity have leaked, this time bringing Rihanna, Amber Heard, and Gabrielle Union in the mix.
For a story to go full circle, Vanessa Hudgens has found herself in the middle of a nudity scandal yet again.
According to News AU, if the pictures are confirmed to be of the 25-year-old actress, it will be the third time that nude photos of her have circulated without her consent.
A source for Hollywood Life said, "She has learned to accept that it happened before and there really isn't anything she can do about it. She is still upset, and now that it has happened again, she is even more rocked by it because she really wants to be known as a serious actress."
The source then added, "With these new photos out, in her eyes she thinks it taints what people might think of her when it comes to producers and decision-makers for her career. She is very upset and is looking to have her people do something about it more strongly this time."
Back in 2007, the News AU noted that an 18-year-old Hudgens had to apologize to her fans regarding the leak. The then-Disney star said, "I want to apologise to my fans, whose support and trust means the world to me. I am embarrassed over this situation and regret having ever taken these photos."
Union, on the other hand, has called the attention of the FBI regarding the leakage of the photos that she sent to her husband, Dwayne Wade.
In a joint statement, the couple said, "It has come to our attention that our private moments, that were shared and deleted solely between my husband and myself, have been leaked by some vultures. I can't help but to be reminded that since the dawn of time women and children, specifically women of colour, have been victimised, and the power over their own bodies taken from them. These atrocities against women and children continue worldwide."
Kardashian, another victim of the said scandal, weighed in on the topic. She shared on E! News "I think it's a wake-up call for people to make sure they have every privacy setting. It seems like there are a lot of people that love to spend their time hacking peoples' information and that's just a scary thing."
Other stars affected by the scandal, which started in August, include Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, and Kirsten Dunst.
