The latest in Apple's line of smartphones will be available on September 19, and if you're confused on which one to splurge on, here are some things for you to consider before buying the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus.
Here is a breakdown of the pros and cons of the products, according to Yahoo:
Display
The biggest and most obvious difference between the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus is their screen size. While the iPhone 6 comes in with a 4.7 inch retina display, the iPhone 6 Plus is considerably bigger with a 5.5 inch screen.
This makes the iPhone 6 Plus better for those who use their phones primarily for web browsing and emails, and is considerably smaller than a tab if you'd rather be watching videos and movies.
It is also helpful for the older folk, especially those with vision problems. Both phones come in with a Display Zoom feature, but with a bigger screen, it makes it easier to see the print on the iPhone 6 Plus.
The iPhone 6 Plus also has a landscape view, which is helpful for some apps, such as emails.
Camera
For Instagram aficionados, the camera for both phones is essentially the same: all-new iSight cameras equipped with 8-megapixel sensors, better autofocus, and better resolution. The main difference on the phone cameras is the image stabilization program: the 6 Plus features optical image stabilization, while the 6 only gets digital image stabilization.
While the difference seems miniscule, it is an important one. OIS uses algorithims to manipulate the camera lens, resulting in clearer photos than that of the Digital version.
Price
The iPhone 6 starts at $200 for a 16GB for a 2-year contract, while the iPhone 6 plus starts at more than half the price, at $300.
A 64GB version of the 6 costs $300, while the 6 Plus will cost $400. Finally, Apple is offering 128GB versions for all the TV show and photos you desire, but it will cost you $400 for the 6, and $500 for the 6 Plus.
Additional Features
Businessweek also discussed the new features, which included Wi-Fi calling, voice over LTE, and near-field communications wireless chip.
It was also reported that the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will have an improved battery life, although both phones still won't last an entire day for heavy users.
Of course, it all goes down on how much you want to pay for your iPhone, and with the possibilities of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, you can take your pick depending on what feature you value.
So which one will you be getting?
