One of the reasons why NBA 2K15 is much-anticipated by basketball fans around the world is because superstar Lebron James will be donning his old No. 23 uniform as a Cleveland Cavalier.

A new trailer was released by NBA 2K, dubbed "Homecoming", on September 4, which increased the excitement of gamers more. The video clip featured D-Pryde and Erika David's "Fly Away" ("Coming Home" by Diddy and Skylar Grey REMIX Cover). In an article by Bleacher Report, "Coming Home" has been the unofficial theme song of LeBron since "The Decision" to take his talents to South Beach.

The trailer lasts two and a half minutes long. The initial footage featured scenes from Cleveland, Ohio, where James started his career. An animated version of James followed, where he seemed to be contemplating deeply. Afterwards, an old video of LeBron in his green Irish high school uniform was shown where he gracefully dunked a basketball. More old scenes from his high school games followed, which referenced to his return to his roots after getting a couple of championships in Miami. As the music picks up, the cityscape of Cleveland and the bright lights of the Cavaliers' arena were shown. James was in his white Cavaliers uniform, pumping up teammates like Kyrie Irving and most notably, Kevin Love before the game.

The video continued, showing a variety of James' signature moves like his posterizing dunks, fade-away jumpers and chase-down blocks. The words, "My name rings and my name on everything till I die I remain king," appeared in the clip. There was even a scene where he dunked on Kobe Bryant. Scenes of him in his maroon and yellow uniform were also presented.

As promised, the details and environment in the upcoming game were much improved. The face of LeBron and other players were easily recognizable and the game developers put a lot of emphasis on the lights, the players' body and movements to imitate real action. Gamers are looking forward to the variety of LeBron moves that they can use in-game.

Meanwhile, an NBA 2K15 trailer also featuring LeBron was released late last month, as reported by Blackenterprise.com, in fulfillment of a promise made by Ronnie Singh of 2K Sports to fans. The video featured cover star Kevin Durant and LeBron James in his maroon and yellow uniform.

NBA 2K15 is set to launch on October 7 and will be available on Playstation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PC.
