Hungry for more PlayStation 4 games? September won't let you down, as various developers are slated to release a slew of such goodies this month. After all, September "is the start of the 'holiday season' for gamers", as GameZone's Matt Liebl noted.
"Anytime you have one of the most-anticipated games of the year releasing (Destiny), you know it's a big month," he added.
And "Destiny's" not the only finger-itching game that's set to be released this month. There are also the following, as ordered by release dates:
September 2: "Velocity 2X"
The sequel to 'Velocity Ultra', FuturLab's game "lets you pilot the Quarp Jet again in space combat," AnandTech said.
September 2: "Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments"
"Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments" is said to be the "first game in the series designed in Unreal Engine 3 for an evolutionary leap in graphic detail," according to IGN. Plus, you'll not be just a spectator during the investigation - you'll also become Sherlock Holmes himself and conduct your own investigations.
September 2: "Warriors Orochi 3"
This is another follow up of an earlier version that "offers 145 playable characters in a new storyline that 'brings the heroes together again after the death of the Demon Snake as they are called upon by a mysterious stone to return to the chaotic din of battle,'" GameZone noted.
September 9: "Destiny"
From the makers of "Halo", this is one game many have been waiting for with bated breath. "The multiplayer shooter looks to build on the solid 'Halo' reputation Bungie has created, hopefully vaulting them once again into the elite studio discussion," GamesRadar observed.
September 9: "NHL 15"
This one's been talked about before it's been released, as expected of a popular game. This new version has "new gen consoles, including improved collisions and puck physics," HereIsTHeCity said.
September 16: "Anomaly 2"
This one's "a real-time strategy game that takes the tower offense concept from Anomaly Warzone Earth to a new level," as described by IGN. "Maintaining the core elements of the original, Anomaly 2 adds new features to the single-player campaign and finally puts your skills to a test in a completely unique experience: the dynamic tower defense vs. tower offense multiplayer mode!" the site added.
September 23: "Disney Infinity"
"Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes" blends the best of both worlds - that of Marvel superheroes and Disney characters, of course. This game allows you to team up or pit various characters to hilarious or fun effect, which should excite fans of both brands to no end.
September 23: "FIFA 15"
Aside from enhancements in visual effects, this newest version "makes great strides in the emotional intelligence of players, presentation of the overall match, and control over your player," GameZone said.
Which one will you be getting this month?
