The man whose picture represented the horror that took place at last year's Boston Marathon bombing is now in a picture of health and bliss.
James Costello, who was photographed moments after the blast, was seen beaming happily at one of his saviors and now wife, Krista D'Agostino, Boston.com observed. D'Agostino was one of the many nurses at the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital who tended to his injuries sustained from the bombing . The couple married on Saturday.
A series of photos of Costello and his new wife was like a beacon of hope for the others who have yet to recover from the Boston Marathon bombings.
Costello was dressed in a dark suit while the bride looked equally stunning in a beaded column wedding dress with her hair tied in a fancy ponytail. A woman in dark robes who officiated the wedding was beaming at the two in the background.
Boston Globe, who also published the rest of the photos by Prudente Photography, showed that the Costellos had a top-notch celebrity wedding. The celebration was held at the Hyatt Regency, with a fancy four-tier wedding cake, impressive wedding details and lots and lots of white and blue hydrangeas. All of the vendors who were involved in the wedding, including the services of wedding planner, Rachel Gross, helped make the Costellos have a wonderful wedding by shouldering the costs.
The Costellos, on the other hand, expressed that they will be making a donation to the Semper Fi foundation to pay it forward and help a military couple to have their own dream wedding.
Meanwhile, the case against Boston Marathon bombing suspect, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, has progressed. He along with his brother, Tamerlan, who died in a gunfight with authorities, were believed to have masterminded the terrorist attack.
Daily Mail said 24-year-old Ailina Tsarnaeva was arrested by police for allegedly threatening to blow up an ex-girlfriend of her boyfriend, as confirmed by New York City police.
The New York City Police Department said that Ailina called her boyfriend's ex and told her, "I know people who can go over there and put a bomb on you."
George Briones, the boyfriend identified by the New York Post, is "embroiled in a bitter custody dispute with his ex over their three kids."
Ailina was then apprehended after the unnamed Harlem resident contacted police about the alleged threatening phone call.
Dzhokhar is currently awaiting federal trial for his alleged participation in the Boston Marathon bombings, which had led to the deaths of three people and 260 wounded, including Costello.
