The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 might have finally found a home in the US with Sprint, according to reports.

Rumors leaked today that following a week since the Galaxy Note 2's launch at IFA 2012, a user from XDA claimed to have "stumbled across" a Sprint RDF and outlines that Spring "are in line" to offer the handset.

According to the XDA forum user, identified as "rwilco12," some of the "cool things" encountered in the RDF included Exynos4412 processor, 1280x720 resolution, Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean operating system, support for EVDO, DOrA, WiFi, and LTE, 2GB RAM, 16GB HDD with an expansion slot of 32 GB, an eight-megapixel camera, "and more."

Another forum user stated that the "cool things" has identical specs to the Galaxy Note 2.

The link to the RDF is available but it appears to only open on the Internet Explorer browser. Click here and let us know if it opens on an Internet Explorer browser.

As Latinos Post reported, it was unclear if the four major mobile carriers would carry the Samsung device, i.e., AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless.

Sprint did not carry the original Galaxy Note 2 as it prepares for rival Apple's iPhone 5 launch.

AT&T carried the original Galaxy Note upon its launch last year, but no word yet if they plan to this time around.

No indication yet on Verizon Wireless' status. Verizon will most likely not carry the Galaxy Note 2. The carrier has an upcoming press conference to reveal a new Motorola phone, an imminent iPhone 5 launch, and is also expecting a 5-inch "phablet" from HTC.

T-Mobile recently carried the original Galaxy Note in July, a year after its release. If T-Mobile follows the same trend, perhaps it'll be released by next year.
