While LeBron James was in Taiwan for a Nike event, he did something unusual for his fans to talk about.

In a report by NESN, the star was recorded in a video, stripping onstage to the delight of his fans. He was already topless, wearing only a pair of gray shorts, shoes and a cap as he climbed the steps leading towards the platform. Smoke machines puffed in front of the NBA superstar as the show announcer introduced him to the cheering fans. He raised his hands and faced the crowd then threw his hat to them. He again turned his back to the people as the announcer exclaimed, "Witness LeBron!"

LeBron turned again to the crowd then took both his shoes off. He signed one shoe then threw it to his left. He moved on to sign the other shoe then threw it again to the screaming audience. James was wearing the recently released Nike LeBron Soldier 8.

Finally, LeBron was laughing to himself as he stripped the final piece of garment - his gray Nike shorts, so he was only left with his compression shorts. He signed the basketball shorts with the aid of the announcer then flung it again to the screaming crowd. A bunch immediately gathered in front of the stage to rebound. A few lucky fans were able to catch the much-coveted items.

Fans at the event continued to clap and cheer for the Cleveland Cavaliers star as he exited the stage, now only with his compression shorts and socks.

Since his return to the Cleveland Cavaliers, LeBron has been attending several events such as the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. In a report by ABC News, James started his Nike-sponsored China tour on July 21, 2014. He exchanged gifts with young pianist, Lang Lang, at the Wukesong Sports Center in Beijing. Basketball and music fans gathered to witness the two masters as they chatted a little and played piano together. Lang Lang referred to it as "piano dunk."

James said in a report by Herald Sun, "Every time I come here, the game of basketball grows more and more. It's been great all the way from before I came to 2008 Beijing Olympics and all the way now for me to come back in 2014. The game continues to rise and I think that's amazing."

James' Asian tour lasts for five days. Aside from Beijing, James also visited Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Taipei and Kaohsiung in Taiwan.
