Courtney Love, wife of the late Kurt Cobain, revealed that the biopic about her husband is slated for production next year.

"The biopic should start within the next year or so. CAA (Creative Artists Agency) directly sent me actors' (demo) reels," she explained. "That was really tough because these boys are so pretty, so cute. I won't name names because I don't want to jinx it for anyone but these are 25-year-olds who are blond, gorgeous and the new Brad Pitts. There's a ton of those. Some are really good actors, not just pretty faces," Love said, as reported by Inquirer Entertainment.

On the other hand, she clarified that she will not be making any executive decisions surrounding the Cobain biopic, but decisions will still have her sign of approval. She added, "I don't want to be the person who makes that decision. Let's leave that to the agents; I have great agents now. But I will have a say in it."

Cobain as a subject of a movie has eluded Hollywood for over a decade since he was found dead. Although a handful of documentaries were made about him, MTV.com said the closest to a movie project was the 2005 biopic titled "Last Days," which was played by actor, Michael Pitt and directed by Gus Van Sant. The entertainment news channel cited rumors that "World War Z" director, Marc Forster has been allegedly tapped to do the biopic, although the duties were supposedly passed to "The Messenger" director, Oren Moverman.

It is not clear whether Moverman's film project is the same one as Love has discussed with the Inquirer, but Moverman did say that the one he is working on is begging to be given the greenlight.

"There is a script from David Benioff ["25th Hour"/ "Brothers" screenwriter] that is about Kurt Cobain, and I'm in negotiations to polish it and then direct it, but it's not a done deal deal yet. It's in the works and hopefully it will work out. That book [Heavier Than Heaven] has a lot of information, so, yeah, it's definitely a great resource. But a lot of [the script] is also based on David Benioff's research and creative flourishes. To tell you the truth, it's so early in the process, it would be not right for me to try to guess what the film will be before I start to actually attack it, before I'm officially on it," he said.

Meanwhile, Forster himself is reportedly not going to film the sequel to "World War Z." Juan Antonio Bayona, who is also reportedly set to direct the movie adaptation of the book, "A Monster Calls," has been chosen to direct the zombie apocalypse sequel, KPopstarz reported.
