Kim Kardashian and Kanye West may have tied the knot a few days back, but it's not likely that the star will be changing her professional name to "Kim Kardashian West" or "Mrs. West" anytime soon -- at least until her mom allows it.

According to Radar Online, Kim's "momager", Kris Jenner, probably won't allow her daughter, the most important and popular person in the Kardashian family, to change her work name, considering that it's what their brands and businesses are anchored on.

Kris Jenner is the main decision maker and perhaps even the most hardworking member of the Kardashian business empire, which is now a trademark. Radar added that there is no way Kris will allow the professional name change, and, citing a unnamed source, the site wrote that if Kris could even make Kanye change his last name to Kardashian, she would.

It remains to be seen where this goes, though, considering how influential Kanye has been with Kim's decisions in the past. In a feature on Kanye, USA Today reported that he even told Ryan Seacrest that his fiancee was more influential than Michelle Obama. At that time, West had admitted to lobbying for Kim's first Vogue magazine cover.

Another article by Radar Online also reported that Kanye has disallowed Kim to appear on the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" spin-off titled "Kourtney & Khloe Take The Hamptons" which will start filming in New York in the summer. Momager Kris is reportedly furious about this.

Insiders reportedly said that Jenner will fight "tooth and nail" for Kim to keep her professional name. HollywoodLife.com quoted a source saying that Kim had really intended to write her name as "Kim Kardashian West" from the beginning because it would hurt his ego if she didn't, knowing that Kanye wanted tradition to take over celebrity.
