We are sure that someday Google Maps will show every inch of the planet. Nowadays, it features popular places, Third World countries and also, desert islands.
The next clip shows the Hashima Island, which is located in Nagasaki, Japan. Between 1887 and 1974, the island’s main activity was coal minning but after the mines were closed, everyone abandoned the place.
The footage of this island was captured by using Google Trekker, a backpack device that is able to record in a 360° mode.
