The long-awaited sequel to the 1994 hit comedy film "Dumb and Dumber" will be arriving in cinemas near you this year in November -- finally!

In anticipation of the upcoming flick, which still include Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels in the lead roles, various plot leaks and cameo rumors have swirled among fans and movie pundits. We're having none of those -- instead, we're rehashing the funniest lines of the original "Dumb and Dumber" and remember why it was such a phenomenally funny and sequel-worthy film.

  • "Hey. Wanna hear the most annoying sound in the world?"

Remember what Lloyd Christmas, played by Carrey, said to "baddie" Joe Mentalino after picking him up on the road? He went on to say this line and make a sound "which turns out to be a little bit like a gargling cockerel," Digital Spy noted. "It's then followed by a performance of one of the most annoying, albeit catchy, songs in the world."

  • "Mary, I desperately want to make love to a schoolboy."

Lloyd apparently put too much effort in practicing the lines he wanted to say to Mary Swanson -- he ended up mixing things up and saying the wrong thing, hence this funny line. It should have gone like this: "I feel like a schoolboy again, a schoolboy who wants to make sweet, sweet love to you."

  • "Just when I think you couldn't be any dumber, you go and do something like this... And totally redeem yourself!"

This line was uttered, to hilarious results, when Lloyd unwittingly exchanges their sheepdog van for a child's scooter.

  • "Yeah I called her up, she gave me a bunch of crap about me not listening to her, or something, I don't know, I wasn't really paying attention."

Made Man said this is a "pretty simple subtle quote." However, the way it was delivered gave this line that extra stroke of comedic genius and a laugh-inducing quality.

  • "We got no food, we got no job, our pets' heads are falling off!"

This line propelled the funny duo to go off on a rip-roaring adventure. This was uttered after Lloyd found out that Harry's pet parakeet Pete got beheaded.

Which line do you think is the funniest?
