The dispute between actor Sebastián Rulli and his ex-wife, host Cecilia Galliano, reached its end in Mexican courts.
The former couple sought to clear up the legal status of a luxury BMW truck that Galliano gifted Rulli while they were married. The Argentinian demanded the return of the truck that Rulli sold after the divorce, and also claimed an alleged signature forgery involved in the transaction.
Last July, Galliano demanded through legal processes that Sebastián Rulli return the truck that she gave him while they were still a couple. However, the host would not be able to recover the luxury truck, the value of which was over $800,000 pesos, since Rulli decided to sell it and it was now owned by a third party, according to TV Notas.
During the dispute, Sebastián Rulli asked Cecilia Galliano to acknowledge before a civil authority that she was the one to give him the expensive truck while they were still married, according to Univisión.
"The problem is that the truck is not owned by Sebastián anymore before he sold it so we're just want a judge to confirm that," said the actor's lawyer to Televisa Espectáculos, reportedUnivisión.
It was on Thursday, May 15 when Mexican authorities revealed Sebastián's victory. The star of "Lo que la vida me robó" was the one to announce the final ruling through his Twitter account, also thanking his lawyer, David Cohen Sacal, for his assistance in the legal battle.
"Being good is easy, being just is hard (V. Hugo). Congratulations and thank you @davidcohensacal for helping me demonstrate the truth," wrote Rulli in his tweet.

"Truth and honesty always prevail, let's see now what those who attacked you for standing up for your own rights have to say now. @sebastianrulli," replied the lawyer.
Cecilia Galliano has 12 days to appeal the court's ruling.
