About 3 years ago, "American Hustle" star Bradley Cooper talked about his 4-month marriage to "Blue Bloods" actress Jennifer Esposito during a radio interview with Howard Stern, Us Weekly noted.

"It was just something that happened," he began. "The good thing is, we both realized it...Sometimes you just realize it."

Sounds pretty vague. But when the notorious radio DJ pressed him for more information, he merely responded with this statement: "It just wasn't right. It's interesting...things happen!"

Fans who have been speculating about Bradley's "quickie" marriage years ago may now find their curiosity satiated to a considerable degree, thanks to his ex-wife's new book "Jennifer's Way."

According to Confidenti@l of the New York Daily News, the actress dissed her former hubby in her new tome.

"While the 'American Hustle' star isn't named, anyone who checks the film website IMDB can safely assume he's the guy she unceremoniously slams in her memoir," the entertainment news source observed. "The 41-year-old 'Blue Bloods' actress mainly chronicles her lifelong struggle with celiac disease, which included losing teeth on set, having panic attacks, horrific stomach cramps and unsightly rashes."

However, about "a third of the way through the book," Jennifer mentioned a man who she decided to go ahead and date despite "an entire marching band squad of red flags." She said she simply ignored them because she never expected for their relationship to go further.

She also said she found the guy "funny, smart, cocky, arrogant and a master manipulator," and that she didn't really find him "that attractive." She also observed he had a "mean, cold side" and that "his personality could flip on a dime."

Despite all that, they quickly became a couple, although she admitted the relationship was unhealthy and "focused primarily on his needs and nothing else." As a result, she felt "sidelined," very sad, and alone. But she continued to hold on to their relationship, which finally ended, albeit abruptly, after attending a seminar at L.A.'s Agape International Spiritual Center.

"Within days, my relationship hit an all-time low, and within a week it was over," she said in her book. "Abruptly, rudely, and with the exact callousness that I'd come to expect from him."

Jennifer and Bradley married in December 2006 and split in May 2007. Presently, the actress is "happily engaged" to Louis Dowler, a British model.
