American actor Kevin Spacey, who has become a worldwide sensation thanks to his role as Francis Underwood in the show "House of Cards", met with Mexico's President Enrique Peña Nieto during an event in Cancún, Mexico.
The unexpected encounter, which was commented on by the Mexican President on social networks, took place during the most recent Tianguis Turístico celebrated in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico, and event which has the purpose of promoting tourism in Cancún.
According to Los Angeles Times, Spacey gave President Peña a DVD copy of the popular show he stars in and signed it with the message "From one President to another", in a clear reference to the events described in Netflix' popular show.
Shortly after, the actor shared on his Twitter account a picture of him in the company of President Peña. "One President is real," wrote Spacey as a caption for the picture which caused different reactions from the people supporting President Peña and his critics.

On his part, Mexico's President wrote on his Twitter account that "It was a pleasure to meet actor @KevinSpacey in Cancún last night, a special guest of the #TianguisTurístico".

And if it wasn't enough, Peña fueled the envy of thousands of Mexican fans of what many consider to be the most successful web series of the moment by apologizing for not being able to reveal details on the third season of "House of Cards", details that Spacey himself revealed to him.
"To the fans of @HouseofCards, I'm sorry, I cannot provide details of the 3rd Season," wrote President Peña on Twitter.
