Robert Pattinson's romance with Kristen Stewart may be over after a brutal scandal, but the on-screen romance may force the drama to linger a little while longer as both Stewart and Pattinson are supposed to join forces to promote their next film "Breaking Dawn Part 2."
Promotion is scheduled to start in October as the film prepares to launch on November 16 and Summit Entertainment was expecting Pattinson and Stewart to appear together in Tokyo, Madrid, and London. However, according to reports from Celebs.com, Pattinson may skip out on this venture to avoid meeting with Stewart.
Stewart and Pattinson broke up after Stewart was caught cheating on him with Rupert Sanders, her director for "Snow White and the Huntsman." Stewart endured the worst from the drama as the press decided to blast her at every turn while ignoring Sanders' involvement in the betrayals. She was also fired from subsequent sequels in the Snow White franchise.
Meanwhile, Summit Entertainment is doing everything they can to keep their franchise from flagging in its final theatrical run. The company announced Tuesday that they will premiere a trailer online on September 8 for the "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2." The trailer is slated to introduce never before seen footage from the film. They have also been promoting the fact that there may be an alternate ending for the film that is being written by Stephanie Meyer, the scribe behind the novels.
Breaking Dawn" will arrive in theaters on November 16 and is expected to finish the Twilight series with a box office bang. The previous installments have all been tremendous box office draws, particularly with the female audience.
