Is Nicholas Hoult trying to mimic girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence's "girl on fire" stunt on "The Hunger Games"?
According to RadarOnline, the actor "attempted a risky party trick while hanging out with X-Men: Days of Future Past pals, including cast member James McAvoy and legally embattled director Bryan Singer, at Montreal bar Burgundy Lion one night after filming last year."
So, is this one of the things that drew J-Law to him?
The entertainment news site was able to acquire the video of Nicholas downing a shot of sambuca. In the clip, James could be seen sparking a lighter in the 24-year-old's mouth.
"It looked like it went up your nose!" the older actor proclaimed after igniting the fire.
Although this stunt may look as if it's a whole lot of fun, it's also a dangerous one. "Last year, Alexey Ponamarev, 28, of Russia was rushed to the hospital with severe burns after a fiery drink engulfed his face," RadarOnline noted. Also, The Daily Mail said that in October last year, "a woman suffered severe burns to her cheeks, forehead and chest after a Sambuca cocktail exploded in her face at a bar in Manchester."
Whew! Good thing nothing of the sort happened to Nicholas! We wonder: how did Jennifer react to all this?
Currently, Nicholas is taking a break in London and Paris with his award-winning girlfriend. They must be charging their batteries before they go round the movie premiere circuit once their upcoming film "X-Men: Days of Future Past" hits the theaters worldwide later this month. The much-anticipated flick will be released on May 22 in the UK and May 23 in the U.S., according to The Daily Mail. Soon enough, we'll be seeing the loved up couple lighting up the red carpet and setting fans' hearts on fire. Agree or disagree?
