It seems tougher and tougher nowadays to actually keep a tech device under wraps before its release. No matter how silent Apple remains, everything from component parts to a supposed-fully-assembled device has somehow found its way onto the internet. And now, it looks like Motorola is no exception to this.
As early week before a joint Motorola-Verizon press conference on September 5, specs and details on a new Droid phone, the Motorola Droid RAZR M 4G LTE (quite the name) have been leaked. As it turns out, consumers can expect the handset to not only come in black, but in white as well.
The image of the white Droid RAZR M 4G LTE was leaked by website Engadget. While the back of the device will stay black like the black Droid RAZR M 4G LTE, it seems that Motorola and Verizon are content with simply changing the trim.
Dubbed the Droid RAZR M 4G LTE, the device will be the latest in the Droid RAZR series from Motorola. As the name implies, the handset will support 4G LTE and run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon dual-core processor. It will also come with 8GB of internal storage and 1GB of RAM.
The handset will come with two impressive cameras. The rear-facing one will capture 8-megapixel pictures and 1080p video while the front-facing camera is 3 megapixels.
The phone will also feature an NFC chip, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
There is no information about the release date and pricing, although Verizon and Motorola should reveal those tidbits at its New York conference tomorrow, September 5.
