An on-set cat fight is reported to have taken place between two talents in the "Glee" series but different versions of the alleged incident are being reported.
"Glee" co-stars Lea Michele, 27, and Naya Rivera, 27, aren't seeing eye to eye and are reported to have been involved in a confrontation. Perez Hilton reports that according to sources, Naya Rivera, along with other cast and crew, has had it with Lea Michele's diva antics.
Team members were apparently annoyed at how Lea kept delaying production to attend to personal matters, a source told Perez Hilton. As a result, Naya took it upon herself to raise the issue to the producers. Lea then allegedly walked off the set of "Glee" upon hearing about what Naya had done.
However, there are conflicting claims regarding what exactly happened. TMZ has insiders who share a different version of the story. Sources allege, "Lea was totally unaware of any complaints about her and Lea and Naya weren't even shooting scenes together."
They also claim that Naya, who brings Santana's character to life, was "tossed off the set."
"Lea didn't even know that Naya complained, if that did in fact happen," a team Lea source revealed to HollywoodLife.com. "She (Naya) showed up to the set in really bad shape - she's been acting more and more erratically on set. She went off on one of the producers on the show and they got really upset with her and it escalated from there."
However the alleged confrontation went down, "Glee" producers should do well to smooth any disagreements as internal conflict would only add to series problems. Headline Planet writes that "Glee" is "no longer a strong ratings performer for Fox." The last few weeks have shown that while the series has a consistent audience, ratings aren't where they used to be.
