As anticipation for the new iPhone mounts, another set of leaked images of the alleged schematics of the iPhone 6 has been circulating online.

Sina Weibo, a Chinese microblogging site, claims that the five photos leaked on their site are from a plant owned by Foxconn, Apple's China-based manufacturing partner. The photos were reportedly taken by someone working for the Chinese company.

The Chinese microblogging site claims that three of the five photos are detailed technical schematics of the smartphone's chassis while the other two are said to be the iPhone 6 manufacturing molds.

According to Apple Insider, based on the alleged detailed schematics, the next-generation iPhone might sport "an extremely thin chassis design with a tapered design and what appears to be chamfered edges, a design flourish used in Apple's most recent products."

While the design leaked is consistent with the iPhone range of devices, as noted by Apple Insider, the validity of the photos has yet to be confirmed.

A number of Apple leaks have been reported in the last few weeks including alleged iPhone 6 specs from Sonny Dickson. Dickson revealed his speculations in a series of tweets dated March 14. Summed up, the upcoming iPhone 6 specs might be 0.22 inches thick, have "Ultra-Retina" display, 389 ppi resolution and a powerful 2.6HGz A8 processor.

Apple is believed to be developing two iPhone devices, one allegedly having a 4.7 inch display and the other expected to be Apple's first phablet, measuring 5.5 inches in display size.

Apple has been facing a lot of criticism in its last few devices with many wondering if the technology firm is still able to provide ground-breaking innovations without Steve Jobs. It's been noted by many frustrated Apple fans that the upgrades have been conservative at best.

Should this alleged phablet see the light of day this 2014, it may be the much-needed game changer for the Apple brand. Are you excited about the possibility of having a larger and slimmer iPhone?
