This is one of the rare times "The Voice" has done the Battle Rounds on overtime, which is a testament to the amount of talent joining the singing competition this year.

This week is round 2 of the singing face-off phase, pitting 2 artists in the same team against each other, with only one victor emerging. Who went home and who remained in the competition?

The first pair of the night is Clarissa and Dani from team Shakira. The powerhouse singers performed Pink's 'Perfect,' which Shakira felt was an apt choice for the two given their vocal power. In the end, the 'Hips Don't Lie' singer saved Dani, as she showed impressive control of her voice, although Clarissa looked in command during her performance, Celeb Dirty Laundry noted.

Up next on stage is Dawn & Hawke vs. Kat, from team Adam. They sang to 'Suddenly I See' by KT Tunstall, which got fellow judge Blake Shelton commenting that the duo ended up seeming like background singers for Kat. In the end, Adam did pick Kat.

Team Usher's Melissa and Music Box went up next to battle it out on stage to the tune of 'Girl on Fire' by Alicia Keys. Although Shakira and Blake commended Music Box, Adam thought Melissa did better. Usher finally made his decision and picked Melissa.

Kayleigh and Bryan performed to Rascal Flatts' 'Easy,' which pleased Blake and also made it hard to pick which one to keep on his team. Ultimately, he decided to keep Ryan.

Britanny and Jake from team Adam sang Usher's 'Climax' during their battle, to which Blake commented that it was a low blow considering both singers left Usher's team. Usher himself admitted he felt bad having to analyze the performance as not only was the song his, but the singers were too. However, he thought they did well. Adam then decided to go with Jake, sending Britanny home.

The final duo of the night, Bria and Madeline, sang 'I Stand By You.' Although coach Usher observed Bria lost control a number of times, he still picked her over Madeline, who then got stolen by Blake. The country music artist said he believed in Madeline and thought her confidence is coming out more.
