Star of "Lo Que la Vida me Robó" Angelique Boyer and Televisa producer José Alberto "El Güero" Castro ended their relationship after three years.
It was through social networks that the actress revealed the decision of the separation through a brief press release signed by both, pointing to work load and lack of time as the main reasons for the breakup.
"We want to inform you that after a wonderful relationship full with love, we have decided to end it; in this moment in our lives we have to face our responsibilities since they don't allow us to maintain our love as we should," reads the release. "We ask you for your understanding and respect so as not to generate any speculation. We will not make any statement on the matter," it continued.

Despite the couple making it clear that their separation is due to time and work constraints, Univisión pointed to statements made by Angelique's father, Don Patrick Boyer who told Mexican entertainment magazine TV Notas his worry for his daughter's relationship with Castro and the producer's intention to separate her from her family.
Don Patrick and Doña Silvie Boyer described Castro as "dangerous", owing to his problems with alcohol and drugs, and said that their daughter might be in danger.
"We're very sad, her relationship with El Güero worries us; he's an alcoholic and a drug addict and that puts my daughter at risk," said the actress' parents, quoted by Univisión.
24-year-old Boyer and 52-year-old Boyer started their relationship after shooting for "Teresa" ended, starring the young actress who started her career with "RBD".
