Chris Brown must spend two months in rehabilitation, after documents proved that the American singer suffers from bipolarity disorder, severe insomnia and post traumatic stress disorder, a diagnosis that was read last Friday at the Los Angeles circuit court during an audience to discuss his parole.
Last November, a judge ordered the singer to go to a rehab center in Malibu, California, after being arrested for throwing rocks from the back window of his mother's car.
Although this arrangement prevented the singer from being sent to prison for violating the terms of his parole, imposed on 2009 for brutally beating up his then girlfriend, singer Rihanna, a letter redacted by the rehab center sent to the court on Friday recommended that Chris Brown continue his treatment at the clinic, reported People en Español.
"Our clinical team believes that Mr. Brown became aggressive and physically reacted due to an untreated mental condition, severe lack of sleep, inadequate self medication and post traumatic stress disorder," said the clinic that is treating Chris Brown in the letter sent to the court, wrote People en Español.
It's worth noting that during the audience which took place last weekend, authorities from the rehab center said that Chris Brown has behaved like a "model patient" since he began his treatment last November 20, after starring in a series of scandals due to his aggressive conduct, according to MTV's website.
Chris Brown, who for most of 2013 was involved in various incidents with justice for his violent actions against photographers and fans, has delayed the date of the release of his awaited album, "X", which is expected to be released this year.
The 24-year-old singer and composer is currently under parole since 2009 when he was sentenced for physically attacking his then girlfriend Rihanna, during the eve of the Grammy awards ceremony.
