Every true-blue RPG fan would have been hooked on a Final Fantasy game at one point or another. To many, the critically acclaimed Final Fantasy series is viewed as the mother of all RPGs and with good reason.
Final Fantasy VI was the game that made RPG a household term and the RPG genre famous to the gaming masses. To date, the PlayStation and Super Nintendo versions alone have sold 3.4M copies worldwide.
To put it simply, Final Fantasy VI is legendary to the gaming world. And it conquers gamer's hearts anew when it was ported to Android devices just last month, and now has finally arrived on iOS.
Final Fantasy VI is a role-playing video game developed and published by Square (now Square Enix), released in 1994 for the SNES as a part of the Final Fantasy series. Set in a fantasy world with a technology level equivalent to that of the Second Industrial Revolution, the game's story focuses on a group of rebels as they seek to overthrow an imperial dictatorship. The game features fourteen permanent playable characters, the most of any game in the main series.
According to Tabtimes.com, the iOS version of Final Fantasy VI features the same changes present in the Android version, including the updated graphics and touch screen controls. It also features cloud saves and the extra content, including new dungeons and espers that was included in the Game Boy Advance port Final Fantasy VI Advance. Plus it's probably safe to assume that the typos and game-breaking glitch early adopters complained about in the Android version of the game won't be present at this point.
While the experience of playing Final Fantasy VI on your mobile may be different, early testers claim that the epic game is worth every penny.
