Best Buy kicks off the year with an exclusive $50 discount offer on the iPhone 6, long before its actual launch which historically happens at the last quarter of every year.
What makes this deal quite attractive is that it not only applies to Apple's flagship mobile device. Best Buy's tag line "Any carrier. Any phone. Any plan. All in one place." means that this special deal includes other high-end, flagship mobile devices that are scheduled for release this year such as the Nexus 6, Xperia Z2, LG G3 and the HTC One 2. Unfortunately for Samsung enthusiasts, it has not been confirmed if the much-awaited Samsung Galaxy S5 is included in the promotion.
This $50 discount offer is currently ongoing and interested individuals may reserve up to 5 mobile numbers for a family plan. Registration ends on Saturday, February 15, 2014, and individuals may purchase and activate their new mobile phone with their registered phone number and a two-year agreement on AT&T, Sprint or Verizon Wireless at any Best Buy or Best Buy Mobile store any time before December 31, 2014.
It is important to note though that this offer only applies to current carrier subscribers, so this rules out the deal for new lines and new phone numbers. It does, however, apply to upgrades and port-in activations. What makes the offer more enticing is that registration is risk-free and penalty-free if one has a change of mind which makes it the perfect excuse to sign-up for that much-coveted new phone. Best Buy also makes this hassle-free by providing an Upgrade Checker Application so consumers can check whether they are eligible for the offer online so their trip to Best Buy won't be a waste of time.
