Carrie Fisher has confirmed the participation of Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford in the new "Star Wars" film.

During an interview with TV Guide the actress said that Hamill and Ford are expected to report to work in March or April. She also hinted at some ideas she had for her character, Princess Leia. She said, "I'd like to wear my old [cinnamon buns] hairstyle again - but with white hair. I think that would be funny."

Before reprising her role as Leia, Fisher will play Angela Greenberg, an aggressive comedy-development exec who sets up a meeting with Jim Jefferies for Fox's "Legit" later this season. Speaking of her character, Fisher said, "She's a very crass and confident showbiz woman who knows what she wants and doesn't care what anyone else thinks. Jim's talent doesn't matter to her. She's interested in him sexually and gets what she wants."

Fisher is also set to appear on "The Big Bang Theory" with fellow Star Wars vet James Earl Jones (the voice of Darth Vader).

This is not the first time Fisher has been open about the upcoming "Star Wars: Episode VII." Back in April, the actress said that Disney executives had sent her a personal trainer to get back in shape. She said, "I like being bought by Disney, because they never wanted to buy me before. I'm glad they are doing a new movie because they are sending a trainer to my house so I can get in really good shape. So I'm really eating a lot of sugar in advance, as you can see. By the time I really get down to it I will have eaten everything."

"Star Wars: Episode VII" is set for release on Dec. 18, 2015.
