Christopher Millor, co-directed of the upcoming 'The Lego Movie,' revealed how he and fellow director Phil Lord are going to let Batman come alive on the big screen as an animated plastic brick character, Total Film announced.

Based on movie teasers featuring the Dark Knight's appearance in the much-anticipated computer-animated comedy film, the Gotham City hero "absolutely steals the show," said Blastr. Watch that trailer showing Batman in "the more humorous angles of his twisted nature" below.

If you think that was funny, this more recent trailer is even funnier. In fact, it's already gained 11 million views on YouTube, thanks to Batman's hilarious intro.

So, will the Caped Crusader serve as the movie's "court jester" and the cast's laughingstock? Let's hear what Miller has to say.

"Our vision of Batman is very aware that he's a wealthy millionaire on top of being a super-cool hero," the director began. "Will Arnett brings a lot to the character. The character is a little bit more egotistical and self-involved than other stuff we've seen him in. But in the end, he's still a hero and does the right thing and is a badass."

So that means the comedy lies in being too self-absorbed than he normally is. That's perfect for a movie about talking, walking, and world-saving plastic bricks!

Miller also revealed that he talked to the director of the upcoming 'Batman vs. Superman' flick "to make sure there was no cross-over between 'The Lego Movie' and Warner Bros' own DC properties.

"We sat down with Zack Snyder and his team about it. I said we're making our own universe and they have nothing to do with it," the director explained.

That was a good move, director! It helps assure everybody that there'll be no creative conflicts between the two films.

'The Lego Movie' will be flashing across theater screens near you come February 7 this year.
