Justin Bieber is facing serious legal implications if proven guilty to allegations of egg pelting that seriously damaged his neighbor's home.
By throwing eggs at his neighbor's house, Justin Bieber is in hot water and may even result in both jail time and deportation.
According to a Fox 411 report, lawyer Anahita Sedaghatfar said, "California does not take vandalism lightly. If the damage is $400 or more, the person can be charged with a felony and the person can face anywhere between one to three years in jail, in addition to having to pay fines and penalties."
The Los Angeles County Sheriff, through Lt. Steve Whitmore, echoed this statement in the latestreport from E! Online. Whitmore said, "The houses in that neighborhood are of a quality that any damage is going to be extensive. So they had some imported wood and brick and that was significantly damaged."
Lt. David Thompson also shared the same thoughts on the issue, telling the Associated Press, "I get the eggs don't seem that significant, but it does rise to the level of a felony. There is a victim in this case who has extensive damage done to their home. And that's a serious incident."
According to another report from E! Online, in relation to the incident, the LA County Sheriff's Department has conducted a raid on the Calabasas home of the Canadian singer. At the time of the raid, Bieber was asleep in his room. Also asleep were five to six guests.
The Rolling Stone reported that during the raid, police authorities arrested Lil Za for possession of cocaine. Lil Za, whose full name is Zavier Smith, was a house guest at the time of the raid and is a known friend of Bieber. The true nature of the substance is still being tested.
