Even though she has only lived in the US for a few months, Mexican actress Eiza González has managed to get various opportunities in film and TV, with the most recent one being a Robert Rodríguez project, the same director that gave Salma Hayek her first chance in Hollywood.

On her social network accounts, the Mexican actress shared a promotional posted with her fans, along with the teaster trailer for "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series", a TV project where she plays the same character Hayek played years before in the cult movie directed by Robert Rodríguez and Quentin Tarantino.

The new TV show is the adaptation of the 1996 movie. The movie tells the story of the Gecko brothers, two fugitives who have an encounter with Mexican vampires.

According to BuzzFeed, the new series, adapted by Rodríguez himself, premieres in March through "El Rey Network" and wil expand on the original story by adding new characters and events.

"We will se the events that led up to the movie, and the character's deeper motivations and arguments in the story we're making. The movie was a tale. This version is the novel," Rodríguez told BuzzFeed.

The new project will star D.J. Cotrona and Zane Holtz as the Gecko brothers (played by Quentin Tarantino and George Clooney in the film), along with Don Johnson, Wilmer Valderrama and Robert Patrick, according to Entertainment Weekly.

In this new story, Eiza plays the role of Satánico Pendemónium, the sensual vampire that Hayek played in 1996.
