Keeley Hazell has admitted she auditioned for the upcoming "50 Shades of Grey" movie adaptation.

The Glamour model and former Page 3 girl told FHM that she had been to two auditions. "I've done some acting stuff - a couple of films and other projects. I auditioned twice for Fifty Shades of Grey. That was a pretty, erm, 'interesting' experience," Hazell said.

Hazell, however, did not get the job. Dakota Johnson was cast for the demanding role of Anastasia Steele.

However, the model still dreams of acting and would also like to write. She continued, "I've done some acting stuff - a couple of films and other projects. But the thing I've been most passionate about is my writing. There's this perception that you can't be more than one thing."

The model also revealed that she was working on a mini-series that she is very excited about. She said, "I'm currently collaborating with a talented young female director - we wrote a series that has been taken on by a production company. It's in the super-early stages, but it's really exciting."

"Fifty Shades of Grey" is currently in pre-production with the final casting being made. The film is set to star Jamie Dornan, Marcia Gay Harden, Luke Grimes and Jennifer Ehles. The movie will be directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson and will be produced by Michael DeLuca, Dana Brunetti, and E.L James. Seamus McGravey will serve as cinematographer while Francine Maisler will cast the movie.

The movie is set to hit theaters on Feb. 13, 2015.
