Reality TV star and longtime love of Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick, is barely getting over the death of his mother in late October, when he had to mourn another loss. This time, for his real-estate developer father who died on January 2.
A source told Us Weekly that details of his death were not yet available, but according to a source for E! News, Jeffrey passed away in Los Angeles.
This still needs to be cleared, as a source for HollywoodLife.com exclusively said that Scott booked a flight to NYC as soon as he heard the news. He was then in Park City, Utah, on a ski trip with Kourtney, their children Mason and Penelope, and the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan.
Scott's mother, Bonnie, passed away last October 28 in Long Island, where she lived with her husband, and where the couple raised Scott, who was an only child.
According to an E! News Source, "The whole family is so devastated and Scott is beside himself. Scott is an only child with no remaining family."
Jeffery and Bonnie both made appearances on a 2011 episode of their de facto daughter-in-law, Kourtney's reality TV Series, 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians'.
Scott previously opened up to Kourtney that he has a fear of being around dying people. Hollywood Life noted that the entrepreneur told his partner that he is "not good about talking about death," in reference to a cancer-stricken woman he met, who wished to meet him. He told her that seeing Josie (the cancer patient) "confront her illness really made me think about my dad - who suffers from diabetes and needs a heart replacement - I really don't talk about it because its so hard for me."
Scott has not posted on any of his social media networks regarding his loss, and is yet to comment on said tragedy.
