His famous ward may be causing him to break in cold sweat every now and then, but that's probably all in a day's work for Justin Bieber's longtime manager Scooter Braun. More so since he got engaged to his gorgeous girlfriend Yael Cohen; he now has someone to help him face the controversies left in the pop star's wake with optimism and positivity.
"Loving 2014. Luckiest guy in the world," the 32-year-old talent manager announced on his Twitter account Monday. He had also posted a telling picture of the word "Yes" in red font on the same day.
Various sources revealed to Us Weekly that Scooter proposed last Sunday, wherein he received a "yes" from his 27-year-old ladylove.
"He is really happy," said one insider. Another source also told the magazine that the lovers are "head over heels and are so great together."
The couple were said to have spent their New Year's Eve together, checking out different hotspots in the Caribbean. It was, apparently, a prelude to a wonderful milestone for both.
So, who is soon-to-be Mrs.Braun, Yael Cohen?
According to a brief Huffington Post bio of the newly engaged beauty, she's the "Founder, President and CCF (Chief Cancer F*cker)" of a charity she set up in 2009 called "F*ck Cancer," which targets the Generation Y demographic and aims to "create a generation that puts an END to late stage cancer." The organization was started when Yael's own mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. Although born in South Africa, she grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia. She has a Political Science degree and has worked in the finance industry. Yael has since become known as a social entrepreneur and health advocate since she set up F*ck Cancer.
