Shakira will return to American TV on February 24th when she comes back as a judge for season six of The Voice and once again replace Christina Aguilera.
The singer confirmed it herself via Twitter where she wrote "Shak is back!" along with a video of her previous participation the show.

She previously refused to participate in the fifth season of the show in order to focus on her career and spend more time with her son Milan, who was barely four-months-old.
"I really like 'The Voice' but I have a music career, and now I'm also a mother and my poor baby is tired of flying such long distances, he has more miles than any pilot now. So I think I have to give him a break, and see what happens in the future," she told E! News back then.
The quartet of coaches will be comprised of Shakira, Usher (who is also coming back to replace Cee Lo Green), Adam Levine (vocalist of Maroon Five) and Blake Shelton, country-music idol.
Besides her return to TV, the Colombian singer is planning to release a new single in January of 2014, a track that belongs to her upcoming album of which there are currently not many details besides it being dedicated to her boyfriend Gerard Piqué, her son and her father, according to Billboard.
Likewise, Shakira has stated on social networks that she worked on the video for this first single with director Joseph Khan (winner of a Grammy in 2002 for Eminem's "Without Me" video), and it's speculated that the album will feature a duet with Rihanna.
