Amazon has once again increased the price of the Nokia Lumia 521 Windows Phone 8 smartphone by T-Mobile.
As Latinos Post reported on Dec. 2, the Lumia 521 was priced at $79.95, which was a 47 percent discount from the original listed price of $149.99.

As of Dec. 4, the Lumia 521 saw its price increase to $135.99, which is a 9 percent savings from the original $149.99 price tag. As of 1 a.m. EST, six units of the Lumia 521 remained in stock.
Despite the price changes, Amazon is still offering to ship the Windows Phone 8 device for free since it is a product worth more than $35.
Meanwhile, the online Microsoft Store has also increased the price of the Lumia 521. Latinos Post reported the smartphone was priced at $79, however, it has gone to $99 instead. Similar to Amazon, the online Microsoft Store offers free shipping and free returns.
The Lumia 521 can also be purchased from the official T-Mobile website with $0 up front. On T-Mobile's website, the full retail price of the Lumia 521 is $126. With the $0 up front offer, the T-Mobile customer will have to pay $5.25 for the next 24 months. If the consumer cancels the wireless service, the remaining balance on the Windows Phone 8 device will be due. With the purchase of the Lumia 521 from T-Mobile's official website, the consumer will receive a $20 app credit.
The Lumia 521 sports a 4-inch touchscreen and 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording. When it comes to memory, the smartphone has 8GB of internal storage with 512MB of RAM. A microSD card slot is available for an additional 64GB of storage. The battery capacity for the Windows Phone 8 smartphone is 1,430mAh.
