Australian model and Victoria's Secret Angel, Jessica Hart, could be under fire for her critical assessment of country music sweetheart Taylor Swift's potential as a fellow Angel last month.

WWD previously asked her if the "Trouble" singer, who performed at the November 13 Victoria's Secret annual catwalk event, would be suitable as a VS mannequin. "No," she had replied, "I think, you know what, God bless her heart. I think she's great. But I don't know, to me, she didn't fit. I don't know if I should say that."

The 27-year-old lingerie model then continued to reveal her thoughts on the subject, which only appeared to strengthen her verdict on the multi-awarded artist. "I think what you find is that for a lot of us, we've been working for 14, 15 years; what it takes to make it here comes from experience and confidence and knowing how to be confident with yourself. I think it comes with age," Hart had said.

However, according to the Daily Mail, the statuesque beauty changed her tune 5 days later, saying, "I adore Taylor Swift and I was so excited to be with her at the Victoria Secret Fashion Show. . . She is a true rock star and she absolutely killed it the other night."

Apparently, the verbal backpedaling wasn't enough to smooth down ruffled feathers at the Victoria's Secret camp. The New York Post alleged that VS honchos were so "furious" over Hart's comments that they have fired her and won't be having her back on the catwalk next year and even on their upcoming catalogs.

Although a Victoria's Secret representative declined to comment on the alleged firing, the company's chief marketing officer had earlier shared his thoughts about the Australian model's comments days after the annual runway show.

"I have personally been in contact with Jessica Hart and she said she was 'wildly misinterpreted' and that she thought Taylor was 'amazing,'" Razek explained to US Weekly.

The Australian Angel's representatives have yet to release a statement in response to these recent reports.
