On the latest episode of ABC drama "Revenge," Emily wasn't the only one seeking vengeance.
The episode "Resurgence" focused on Nolan's (Gabriel Mann) revenge against a despised adversary.
At the center of Nolan's takedown is a PR expert, Bizzy (Ana Ortiz), who is hired to do damage control for the Graysons. Nolan has a vendetta against her because she outed him and caused a permanent rift between him and his father, who is now deceased. While Nolan is able to effectively ruin her by finding out that she's cheating on her husband, he doesn't damage any innocent parties, as Emily (Emily VanCamp) sometimes does. At the end of the episode, Nolan jokes that he could teach Emily a few things about the art of revenge.
While the episode focused on Nolan's revenge, more elements were added to the main storyline. Charlotte (Chris B. Allen) proved to be more meddlesome than her mother by figuring out how to pull Daniel (Joshua Bowman) away from Emily. She brought back Sarah (Annabelle Stephenson) into the mix, who actually has feelings for him, unlike Emily. Daniel and Sarah almost share a kiss while watching Fourth of July fireworks, which Nolan sees.
Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) fires Aiden, and finds a new cohort: Sarah. At the end of the episode, Victoria shows up at Sarah's place, and says that she's the one for Daniel. They strike up a plan to do everything in their power to stop Daniel's wedding to Emily.
On the next episode, "Secrecy," "Victoria eagerly throws Emily a bridal shower that neither of them will soon forget. And when Daniel grows more distant, Emily has to take drastic measures."
Showrunner Sunil Nayar told TVLine that there is going to be major game-changers in upcoming episodes.
"Emily's quest for vengeance will always be alive, but there's going to be a major shift - not only in her approach to it, but in other people's approaches to her," Nayar shared. "Suffice it to say, gloves are coming off and everyone's getting into the ring."
