Robin Roberts was back in the set of 'Good Morning America' on Monday after a two month hiatus during which she was on medical leave.
The morning talk show co-host was previously diagnosed with MDS which is a syndrome that involves abnormal production of certain blood cells in the bone marrow.
During Monday's show, however, Roberts told her viewers how good she was feeling:
"My needle was past E when I left here a couple of weeks ago, but I've got a full tank, so watch out."
Although back on set, the Huffington post is reporting that Roberts will depart again on another medical leave since she'll undergo surgery in a couple of weeks.
During her medical leave, the co-anchor visited various sites in Italy including the Colosseum, Venice and the Vatican. In the Vatican, she had the opportunity to pray at the same altar used by Pope Benedict and shared she prayed for all of those who had helped in lifting her up.
Photos of her trip could be seen on her Twitter Account here.
In the upcoming surgery, Roberts will receive a transplant from sister Sally-Ann Roberts who according to Yahoo is a perfect match for the bone marrow operation.
Roberts believes that she'll overcome her condition according to the Website.
