Samsung's Galaxy Note 2's launch is set for next Wednesday, Aug. 29, in Berlin and previews, speculated prices, and comments about the device are starting to surface.

Heavily speculated features for the Galaxy Note 2 include a 5.5-inch HD display, a .2 increase from the original Note. It is unsure if the screen will follow the Galaxy S3 with the Super AMOLED HD screen, or even the Super AMOLED HD Plus. The display screen's resolution is expected to be 1280x800. A 13-megapixel rear-facing camera makes the device capture power images. Additionally, it will feature 4G LTE data access, 1.5 to 2GB RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth, and most likely S Voice.

However, the device will run on the older Ice Cream Sandwich, but plans are to have a Jelly Bean update for later this year.

According to Tech Radar, the Galaxy Note 2 is expected to go on sale at around $930, similar to the price the original Note when it first launched. The price is definitely larger compared to Google's Nexus 7 going on sale for about $300.

Slash Gear's Chris Burns wrote on the heavy expectations the Galaxy Note 2 has and the importance to maintain a bit of originality to keep customers away from rival Apple.

"Now with the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, we're likely going to see everything we had with the original Note, but with a larger display as well as some Galaxy S III flair," wrote Burns. "We're hoping to see each of the following bits of fabulousness that came with the Galaxy S III line for one reason: if Samsung is able to continue to bring on Samsung-unique features such as each of these, they'll have an Apple situation on their hands with people wanting to remain 'in the family' - aka brand loyal. Of course when we say 'we hope' it's more of a hope for Samsung if they want to continue to rise in the market ranks."

An advertisement made its debut that features the Samsung S pen stylus being pulled from what is expected to be the Galaxy Note 2. The video follows Wings of Desire director Wim Wenders walking around outside about "magical moments" and ends with the date Aug. 29, the expected launch of the Galaxy Note 2.
