Is Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez ready to leave Manchester United? The Mexican striker utilized Twitter to hint at his desire to leave the squad due to the absence of playing time.

The entire debacle started when the controversial Carlos Vela stated in an interview that he wanted his friend "Chicharito" to find a new home where he would get the adequate playing time.

"Javier is my good friend - and I hope he gets lots of chances this season at Manchester United," Vela said, according to Fox Sports. "He is one of the best finishers in England and deserves chances under the new coach.

"If he plays regularly he will score, so I don't totally understand why a player of his quality has not played more games," he added. "If he doesn't play regularly he will need to think about leaving. You always want to succeed at the biggest clubs - but if he is not given the chance there will be big teams in England and Europe wanting him."

Vela left Arsenal and has succeeded with Real Sociedad.

On Sunday, Hernandez retweeted the story on his account, almost endorsing Vela's statements. News about the Mexican forward is at a premium these days and Hernandez is not one to constantly retweet everything that he reads about himself. However, the fact that he actually took the time to showcase Vela's statements on his page speaks volumes about what his intentions with Manchester United are. He is currently behind Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie in the pecking order and it is unlikely that he gets more playing time this season. His chances of making the World Cup are already in peril after he was left out of Mexico's roster for the playoffs in coming weeks.
