Apple's launch of the latest 9.7-inch tablet could set records to the Cupertino-based organization.
According to Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster, in a note to investors on Nov. 1, the new iPad Air could sell between 2.5 million and 3.5 million units during its first weekend of sales.

The projected sales figures for the fifth-generation Apple tablet would be a small increase compared to the launch of the iPad with Retina Display (iPad 4) when the device launched on Nov. 2 with the original iPad mini and three million units were sold.
The iPad Air could still reach a record-breaking sales figure since the tablet launched in more countries this year than the iPad 4 in 2012. The iPad 4 made its initial launch in 27 countries, while the iPad Air made its debut in 42 countries.
