A deal for the Nokia Lumia 521 has appeared online for MetroPCS customers.
Frys.com is offering the Lumia 521 Windows Phone 8 smartphone for $39.99 on behalf of manufacturer MetroPCS. The $39.99 deal is only valid with a $50 rebate.

The $50 mail-in rebate started on Oct. 25 and will end on Nov. 15. Potential customers can download the PDF needed for the $39.99 Lumia 521 offer buy clicking here. The buyer will need to print the PDF file and pay for postage.
On Frys.com, the Lumia 521 was previously priced for $89.99.
As Latinos Post reported, HSN is also offering the Lumia 521 at a lower cost, although not compared to the Frys deal. HSN priced the no-contract Lumia 521 smartphone for $79.99 but on behalf of mobile carrier T-Mobile. The HSN price of $79.95 can be split courtesy of HSN's FlexPays plan. The FlexPays plan allows the consumer to purchase the Lumia 521 for two payments of $39.98.
The Lumia 521, which is 4G enabled, has a 4-inch touchscreen and 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording. When it comes to memory, the smartphone has 8GB of internal storage with 512MB of RAM. A microSD card slot is available for an additional 64GB of storage. The battery capacity for the Windows Phone 8 smartphone is 1,430mAh.
The deal for the Lumia 521 comes was named the most popular Windows Phone device in the U.S. As Latinos Post reported, AdDuplex's latest figures showed the Lumia 521 as the most utilized overall Windows Phone smartphone and Windows Phone 8 device in the world as well, topping the Lumia 822 and Lumia 920, to name a few.
