The Nokia Lumia 520 continued to make a presence worldwide as it topped the Windows Phone chart in Ireland.
According to AdDuplex, the Lumia 520 was the most utilized Windows Phone device in Ireland based on data collected on Oct. 11.

The Lumia 520 managed to represent 35.2 percent of overall Windows Phone gadgets in the country, which is heavy on Nokia Lumia devices.
What made the Lumia 520 popular?
The Lumia 520, which made its worldwide debut at February's Mobile World Congress, features a 4-inch screen display with 800x480 resolution. The rear-facing camera has 5 megapixels while no secondary camera is present and the Windows Phone 8 smartphone has 8GB for internal storage with 512MB of RAM. The smartphone uses a 1,430mAh battery.
The Nokia Lumia 520 was also named the world's most utilized Windows Phone device, per AdDuplex's statistics.
The Lumia 800 secured second place with 23.6 percent, ahead of the 12.2 percent on behalf of the Lumia 820.
The first non-Nokia Lumia smartphone to rank in AdDuplex's Irish chart is the HTC 8S. With 6.5 percent of the Windows Phone market share, the HTC 8S finished at fourth place.
The Nokia Lumia continued to reign on the charts with the Lumia 620 taking fifth place as it garnered 6.2 percent of the market share.
The only other non-Nokia Lumia device to rank on AdDuplex's chart is the HTC 8X, which fell on ninth place, or 2.1 percent of the market share.
Other notable appearances on the Irish chart are the Lumia 920 and Lumia 925, which ranked seventh and eighth place, respectively.
AdDuplex collected its data from 1,411 Windows Phone apps utilizing the AdDuplex SDK v.2 during Oct. 11.
