Forza Motorsport 5 is one of the top exclusives coming to the Xbox One, especially now that its chief rival, The PlayStation 4-exclusive Driveclub, has been delayed until 2014. The Game will feature highly detailed recreations of many high-end cars, and the already impressive roster will be expanded through DLC. Now, developer Turn 10 has announced the Car Pass DLC for the game on its website, which will add 60 new cars after the game is released on Nov. 22.
Turn 10 revealed that Forza 5 will have six different DLC packs of 10 cars each. Players who buy the Car Pass will receive each of these DLC packs for a discounted price, though exact pricing details haven't been released. Brian Ekberg, the man responsible for the announcement, assured fans that these monthly DLC cars will have all the same features as cars found on disk.
"Each month, we'll be bringing you a new car pack, featuring ten cars to collect, drive, and customize in Forza Motorsport 5. In addition, just like each car that comes on disc in Forza 5, every add-on car will feature a full Forzavista experience. Walk around the car, check out the interior, start up and rev the engine, learn about the car's history and performance statistics; you can even add a new livery design, change the paint color, or tune your car all from the same Forzavista view. Every car has a story to tell in Forza Motorsport 5 and the story will continue to unfold even months after the November 22 launch," said Ekberg.
The first DLC pack of cars will have "a very special inclusion," though just what that may be is currently a mystery.
