Once again Luis Miguel gives the press something to talk about.
The Mexican singer recently demanded local staffers organizing his next concert a private villa for for his six-day stay in the Caribbean country of the Dominican Republic, in addition to a helicopter and a private chef.
The popular Mexican singer will perform in Santo Domingo on November 2 for the enjoyment of his Dominican fans. The media, however, has highlighted some of the demands the artist has made, which many have deemed excessive.
According to information published by El Universal on Wednesday, "El Sol" asked the concert's organizers for a villa and a boat for his leisure times while in the province of La Romana, 110 kilometers east of the Dominican capital.
The same source quotes a press release emitted by the event's producer, which says that the Mexican artist "will fly in his private Gulfstream II SP jet, decorated with expensive leather, incrusted with mahogany, including kitchen, bar and other amenities for the enjoyment of the artist and his company".
Luis Miguel's "The Hits Tour" will begin next November 2 with his concert in the Altos de Chabón amphitheater, in the Dominican Republic, in what is expected to be an impeccable production with 18 musicians on scene, besides his support staff, informs the Mexican artist's official website.
The huge size and the technical requirements of the show to be offered by Miguel have forced the producer of the concert to spare no expenses or details so that the event results in perfection.
In the press release quoted by El Universal, the Caribbean country's A1 Productions highlighted the fact that Luis Miguel is preparing his concert in the Dominican Republic, which he had not visited since his concert in the Félix Sánchez Olympic Stadium in Santo Domingo in 2011.
Likewise, A1 Productions detailed that November 2's concert "will use over 150 moving headlights, eight giant LED screens and exceptional sound, everything brought in by the artist, since Latin America's most famous 'crooner' doesn't like to have any loose ends in his concerts."
Luis Miguel's "The Hits Tour" will visit countries such as Peru, Venezuela and Colombia, besides Mexico.
