It looks like Apple is probably going to put all its eggs in one basket - that is, unveil all of its major fall/winter products on the same day, including the 2013 Macbook Pro Retina with a new Intel Haswell processor, the Retina iPad 5, and the new 2013 iPad mini 2, which is also rumored to have a Retina screen.

Apple has sent out invites for an Oct. 22 event at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, California. The even starts at 10 a.m. PST, and the event invitation mentioned that "We still have a lot to cover."

More and more, it's looking that Apple wasn't kidding about that. For a while there were rumors that the new Retina 2013 Macbook Pro with the Intel Haswell processor would be unveiled on the Oct. 22 date. There were also some expectations that Apple would show off the new OS X 10.9 Mavericks, which Apple previewed at WWDC in the summer.

But now it appears that Apple will also be showing off the iPad 5 and the iPad mini 2 at the same event, making for quite a crowded launch in the coming week afterward. It's not clear if this was always the plan, or if the unveil and release date for the tablets was moved up to steal some of Google's thunder, as it is preparing to reveal its new flagship smartphone and Android 4.4 KitKat.

In any case, as we've previously reported, it looks like the Haswell-packing 2013 Retina Macbook Pro will go on sale shortly after the Oct. 22 event - on Oct. 24 or Oct. 25.

The new Macbook Pro will likely feature Thunderbolt 2, a high-resolution display, and, of course, Intel's Haswell processor, which should lead to a boost in performance while adding battery life. Stay with Latinos Post Tech for more details as we come closer to the event date.
